SpeechPod voice warning system CSA-POD24

CSA-POD24 voice warning system is a version of the popular CSA-POD model designed for mains power. It can only be connected to an external power supply with a DC voltage in the range of 9-24V (9, 12, 18, 24V).

SpeechPOD includes a PIR motion sensor and is fully programmable with the ability to play any audio file. It can detect movement (a person) at a maximum distance of 6 meters. The device is designed to deliver voice messages about specific hazards such as the possibility of slips, trips and falls, sanitation notification, hygiene requirements, security monitoring etc.

A special "cleaning mode" allows cleaners to set a warning message for wet and slippery floors. After a specified period of time, the device returns to its original settings without manual intervention.

The system is also suitable for use near an infection control station or hand disinfection station. It can be used to remind staff and / or visitors to use hand gel, wash their hands, or social distancing.

When motion is detected, a programmed file with a voice recording in any language is played. The user can program up to 100 messages and select them individually or play them sequentially, where each message in the list is played back after successive detector activations. Intervals between messages can be adjusted with the remote programmer so that the message is played back at the right time. Programming and operation of the detector is carried out using the CSA-IR2 wireless remote control (not included in the kit and must be purchased separately).

CSA-POD24 can operate as a standalone unit or be part of the Cig-Arrête® SD Evolution system. Housing is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP plastic). When installing the device in places where it may be exposed to mechanical damage, destruction or theft, it is recommended to protect the device with a metal protective basket, model CSA-Evolution.

Thanks to the use of output sockets, the user has the option of wired connection of other devices that activate the message, e.g. magnetic sensors (door or window reed switches), pressure sensors or other devices that are activated by a voltage-free contact.
