Smoke alarm 2030-DSR3

Kidde smoke detector, model 2030-DSR3, with a replaceable, extended-life battery. This solution allows for a 3-times longer operating time compared to other lower quality detectors available on the market. It is equipped with the patented Kidde optical sensor, guaranteeing a 10-year service life. After 10 years from the first activation of the power supply, the detector will remind you to replace the device with a new one.

The replaceable, extended-life battery (1 x 9V, alkaline) allows for quick and easy installation in the optimal location in the room and ensures continuous protection even in the event of a power outage. Under normal operating conditions, the alkaline battery will last for at least 36 months of uninterrupted operation of the detector. 30 days before the 10-year lifespan expires, the device automatically reminds you to replace it.

The sensor is equipped with additional features, such as an alarm activation memory and a lock that prevents disassembly by children or unauthorized persons. Installation is very simple and requires no additional wiring.

Clear signaling in the form of a multi-function LED, supplemented by a loud audible signal in the form of an 85 dB siren at 3 m, allows you to react without unnecessary delay.

Thanks to the HUSH™ function, you can optionally silence an accidentally triggered alarm (e.g., chemical fumes from a dishwasher, fumes generated during cooking/frying). This solution means the detector can be mounted near the kitchen or bathroom.

2030-DSR3 is certified to meet the requirements of the Polish standard PN-EN14604:2006P (EN 14604:2005) for home smoke detectors. Compliance with the above-mentioned The standard has been confirmed by the independent testing body TÜV Rheinland.

Recommended installation locations: living room, dining room, bedroom, hallway, boiler room, basement, near kitchens, bathrooms, and in high rooms where access to the detector may be difficult.
