Thermo Hyrgometer AZ 88081

The AZ 88081 is a precision meter and data logger for measuring and monitoring temperature, relative humidity and dew point temperature. The device enables both real-time monitoring of environmental conditions and automatic data recording, making it suitable wherever continuous environmental control is required.

The meter can operate as a standalone device controlled using 5 buttons or be configured by connecting it to a computer via the USB 2.0 interface. The device operates in a plug-and-play mode and allows configuration and data logging without the need to install additional drivers or software. The recorded data can be used to automatically generate statistical reports containing minimum, maximum, and average values.

AZ 88081 is equipped with a large, easy-to-read LCD display measuring 63 × 51 mm, allowing convenient monitoring of current parameters. The device can be wall-mounted, making it an excellent stationary monitor for temperature and humidity.

The data logger can store up to 24,000 temperature readings and 24,000 humidity readings. The logging interval can be set from 30 seconds to 120 minutes, while the delayed start function allows measurements to begin at a selected time.

The meter features programmable alarm thresholds for temperature and humidity. Exceeding the selected limits can be indicated by a flashing LED and an audible alarm. The user can also set the alarm delay and select the desired alarm mode.

The temperature measurement range is -30 to 70°C, while the relative humidity measurement range is 0.1 to 99.9% RH. In addition, the device calculates the dew point temperature, helping to assess the risk of moisture condensation and mold growth.

AZ 88081 can be powered by four AA batteries or an optional 9 V DC power adapter, allowing it to be used both as a portable data logger and as a stationary monitoring device. The built-in calibration function, using a reference salt kit, enables periodic verification and adjustment of humidity readings.
