Luxmeter with computer cooperation function DT-8809A

DT-8809A is a high-class meter designed for precise measurements of illuminance. It is equipped with a photometric head connected to the meter with a 1.5 meter cable.

Illuminance measurement can be carried out in the range of 0 ~ 400,000 Lux. Results are presented in digital form on the LCD display and graphically on the barograph. User can select the range and measurement units (Lux / Fc).

Device can operate in the mode of measuring dynamic values, reading the minimum and maximum values ​​(MIN/MAX function) and PEAK HOLD mode, i.e. recording and displaying the peak values ​​of light pulses measurement. HOLD function makes it possible to freeze the indications with a quick response. REL function allows the current value of illuminance to be taken as the zero reference value for subsequent measurements.

Analog indicator - a barograph facilitates the observation of trends in changes in the measured quantity. Up to 99 measurement results can be stored in the memory of the light meter, which can be displayed at any time on the LCD panel.

Meter has a very useful Datalogger function that allows to record in the device memory up to 16,000 measurement data containing the results as well as the date and time of their execution. These data can be read after connecting the luxmeter with a PC after installing the standard software delivered with the device. Program enables not only reading data from the device memory, but also transmission, observation and archiving of measurement data directly on a computer in real time.

DT-8809A is powered by one 9V alkaline battery. It has an automatic power cut-off after 15 minutes. idle and low battery indication. After deactivating the battery saving function, the lux meter can work continuously, e.g. during long-term measurements. Device is designed to be mounted on a tripod.

DT-8809A can be used for measurements at home, work, school, for inspection of rooms where people work or stay, etc.
