DT-3809 is a compact meter designed for precise measurements of illuminance. It was equipped with a silicon photocell connected to the meter with a 1.5 meter cable.

It also works well when measuring the intensity from LED light sources of different colors, by setting the appropriate correction factors for 9 different light sources.

Illuminance measurement can be carried out in the range from 0 to 400,000 Lux. The results are presented in digital form on the backlit LCD display. User can select the range and measurement units (Lux/Fc).

Device can work in the mode of measuring dynamic values, reading the minimum, maximum, average values ​​(MAX/AVG/MIN function). HOLD function allows you to freeze the indications with a quick response.

DT-3809 is powered by three 1.5V alkaline batteries type AAA. It has an automatic power cut-off function after 5 minutes of inactivity and a low battery indication. After deactivating the automatic switch-off function, the device can operate in a continuous mode, e.g. during long-term measurements.

APPLICATION 

DT-3809 can be used for measurements at home, work, school, for inspection of rooms where people work or stay, etc. It is designed to measure light from sources equipped with white LED, fluorescent, halogen, sodium and incandescent light.
