AlcoAlert^® Handy is a high-quality breath alcohol tester. The use of a platinum sensor from a renowned British manufacturer ensures accurate and stable results, even over a long period of time. The tester responds only to ethyl alcohol, which reduces the risk of false results caused by various substances or factors.

The breathalyzer meets the requirements of the EN16280: Breath alcohol test devices for general public standard, which demonstrates high accuracy. Results are presented in digital form in the range of up to 4.00 ‰, with a resolution of up to two decimal places.

The user can automatically convert units between: ‰ (permille) BAC, % BAC, mg/L, g/L. The tester also has a memory that stores the last 50 measurement results and the option to change the alarm threshold according to the user's preferences.

The breathalyzer's backlit mouthpiece mount and 1.7" two-color VA LCD screen with high contrast and deep black make it much easier to perform and read measurements, even in low light conditions. For tests exceeding the alarm level, the display color alternates from white to red 10 times and is accompanied by a pulsating audible signal.

AlcoAlert^®  Handy is powered by 2 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. The device is equipped with an airflow sensor, a test failure indicator, and an automatic power-off function after 30 seconds of inactivity to reduce battery consumption.
