AlcoAlert^® Handy Plus is a high-quality breath alcohol tester. The use of a dedicated platinum electrochemical sensor (Made in the UK) ensures accurate and stable results, even over long periods of time.

The tester responds only to ethyl alcohol, reducing the risk of false results from various substances or factors such as cigarette smoke, mints, or mouthwash.

The breathalyzer meets the requirements of the EN16280: Breath alcohol test devices for general public standard, which demonstrates its high accuracy. Results are presented in digital form in the range of up to 4.00‰, with a resolution of two decimal places.

The user can automatically convert units between: ‰ (permille) BAC, % BAC, mg/L, g/L. The tester also has a memory that stores the last 50 measurement results and the option to change the alarm threshold according to the user's preferences.

The breathalyzer features a backlit mouthpiece mount and a 1.7" TN LCD screen with contrast adjusted for user comfort. This solution also improves the reading speed and display. If tests exceed the alarm level, the device activates an alarm. The alarm threshold and measurement units can be modified by the user, making the breathalyzer ideal for use when traveling to countries with different conversion rates or guidelines.

AlcoAlert^® Handy Plus is powered by 2 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. The device is equipped with an airflow sensor, a test failure indicator, and an automatic power-off function after 30 seconds. sec.
