Breathalyzer AlcoAlert Handy

AlcoAlert Handy is a high-end breath alcohol tester. The use of a platinum sensor from a reputable British manufacturer makes the results accurate and stable even over a long period of time. The tester reacts only to ethyl alcohol, which reduces the risk of falsification of the measurement result by various substances or factors.

The breathalyzer meets the requirements of the EN16280: Breath alcohol test devices for general public standard, which proves the high accuracy of the device. The time needed to perform the test is less than 5 seconds, while the analysis of the sample takes only ±3 seconds. The results are presented in digital form in the range of 0.00 ~ 4.00 ‰, with a resolution of up to two decimal places.

The user can automatically convert units between: ‰ (permille) BAC, % BAC, mg/L, g/L. The tester has a memory that automatically saves the last 50 measurement results, the option to change the alarm threshold according to the user's preferences.

The backlit mouthpiece mount used in the breathalyzer and the 1.7” two-color LCD screen in VA technology with high contrast and deep black make it much easier to perform and read measurements also in low light conditions. However, in the case of test results exceeding the set alarm level, the color of the display changes alternately from white to red 10 times, accompanied by a pulsating sound signal.

AlcoAlert Handy is powered by 2 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries. The device is equipped with an air flow sensor, signaling a wrong test and the function of automatic power cut-off after 30 seconds of inactivity to reduce battery consumption.
