Portable carbon monoxide meter AZ 7701

AZ 7701 is a portable meter designed to detect carbon monoxide in the air. Construction of the meter is based on modern microprocessor technology.

A new generation electrochemical sensor is used for the measurement, which is characterized by a fast-changing reaction and high accuracy. CO concentration is measured in the range of 0 ~ 999 ppm (parts per million). Indications are displayed on a two-field LCD panel with a resolution of 1 ppm.

Device has an acoustic signaling of exceeding the set thresholds. User can select the alarm threshold after exceeding which the acoustic signaling will be activated, from the following values: i.e. 25 (factory setting), 30, 35, 40, 50, 70, 100 or 200 ppm. After exceeding the alarm threshold, in the range of up to 200 ppm, the current CO concentration is displayed on the LCD panel and short, intermittent acoustic signals are emitted. Their frequency increases as the concentration of carbon monoxide increases. Above 200 ppm, the LCD panel displays the current CO concentration and emits a continuous beep.

AZ 7701 has the function of recording the maximum value of the measurement, the value of which is displayed on the bottom of the LCD panel. Display backlight function makes it easier to read indications at low light intensity, e.g. at night, in unlit rooms.

Device is powered by three 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (included). The battery charge status is monitored on the display.

APPLICATION
Allows you to quickly check rooms for the presence of carbon monoxide. It works well during the installation and service of gas heaters or routine CO concentration measurements, e.g. in oil and gas systems. Recommended for use by chimney sweeps, employees of OHS services, Sanepid, Fire Brigade, etc.
