Dräger PAC 8500 stands up to the toughest environmental conditions. It can be equipped with a CO sensor with hydrogen compensation or a dual sensor enabling simultaneous measurement of two gases: CO with H2 compensation ; hydrogen sulfide (H2S) + carbon monoxide (CO) ; oxygen (O2) + carbon monoxide (CO) ; hydrogen sulfide (H2S) + oxygen (O2).

Thanks to its small dimensions and reduced weight, the meter is extremely convenient to use. The impact and chemical resistant housing (protection class IP68) makes the meter ideal for use in harsh environmental conditions. A stable, rotating alligator clip allows you to securely and safely attach the detector to your clothes or belt.

Large, illuminated, language-neutral display constantly shows the gas concentration together with the corresponding measuring unit. Detector is equipped with a specially designed gas inlet opening so that it can be taken from both the top and the front of the device. Thanks to this solution, the continuity of measurements is guaranteed even if one of the inlets is accidentally covered.

In addition to standard alarms, the device also allows you to define additional alarm thresholds TLV (maximum permissible concentration) and STEL (maximum permissible instantaneous concentration).

PAC 8500 is equipped with a 3-stage alert: 360° optical, vibration, and audible alarm. Meter has a memory that allows you to register up to 60 events with the date and time of their occurrence. Infrared port allows you to download events to your computer for more detailed analysis.

APPLICATION
Recommended for monitoring air quality / contamination at workplaces, in sewers, sumps, sewage treatment plants, tanks, landfills and during rescue operations. Construction of the device allows its use in potentially explosive areas.
