Natural gas alarm PREFER

PREFER detector is designed to monitor rooms in terms of the presence of natural gas (LNG, methane).

Device continuously measures the methane concentration in the ambient air, and in the event of detection of a gas leak, it activates optical and acoustic alarm signaling and activates the contact output. Detector has a self-diagnostic system that monitors the detector and internal circuits.

In case of malfunction, the yellow LED lights up to indicate that a fault has been detected. Detector is powered by 230V / 50Hz mains voltage via a 1.8 m long cable. Manufactured in accordance with the EN50194-1: 2009 standard. It can be installed in rooms where the temperature does not drop below -10°C and doesn't rise above +40°C (periodically -20 ~ 50°C) and the relative humidity does not exceed 90%.

The undoubted advantage of detector is the ability to connect, via the contact output, additional devices, e.g. a fan, external optical or acoustic signaling device, gas shut-off control valve, SMS notification module, etc.

APPLICATION
Kitchen rooms equipped with a gas cooker, boiler rooms with natural gas stoves, rooms with gas appliances, such as: valves, gas meters, gas pipes, school chemical and physical laboratories.
