Cavius ​​40mm is the world's smallest photoelectric smoke detector. It is characterized by solid workmanship and modern design, which was confirmed by winning the Red Dot Design Award and the IF award for design.

The detector measures for the presence of smoke every 8 seconds. In case of atypical readings (going into alarm state), readings are taken every 2 seconds. In the event of an alarm, the red LED lights up and the sound signaling is activated 85dB (A) / 3 m.

It has a TEST/RESET button integrated with the housing. It is used to control all functions of the device and to turn off the alarm triggered by mistake for about 10 minutes (e.g. during cooking or frying, etc.). Thanks to this function, it can be installed near the kitchen or bathroom, i.e. in places exposed to the so-called false alarms. It has an indication of the end of the service life, incorrect operation and voltage drop.

Cavius ​​40mm is certified to meet the requirements of the Polish standard PN-EN14604: 2006P (EN14604: 2005) for home smoke detectors. It has also been approved for use in recreational vehicles (RVs) such as caravans and mobile homes.

The detector is powered by a replaceable 3V lithium battery, type CR2. The battery lasts for about 5 years of continuous operation and is replaceable by the user. The advantages of the device include a 10-year warranty, small dimensions, light weight and simple installation.

Recommended mounting locations: living room, dining room, bedroom, corridor, boiler room, basement, near kitchens, bathrooms and in high rooms where access to the detector may be difficult. Recreational vehicles (RVs) such as caravans, caravans.
