Dräger DrugTest 5000

Dräger DrugTest 5000 is a professional and complete automated drug and substance analysis system. It is based on a collected saliva sample and therefore provides reliable results in a simple and hygienic way.

System detects up to 8 substances or substance classes from the list below, using the configured detection limits (cut-offs): cocaine (COC), opiates (OPI), cannabis (THC), amphetamines (AMP), methamphetamine (MET), benzodiazepines (BZO), methadone (MTD), ketamine (KET).

Tester is equipped with a clear, color backlit display, a strong housing and a transport handle. It is ready to use immediately after being turned on. Just remove the cover and hand over the test cassette to the test person.

Sampling is hygienic, painless and does not require the cassette to come into contact with the patient's blood. Tested person, after unpacking the sterile packed cassette, must briefly move the upper part of the probe between the cheek and gingiva until the probe signals that sufficient sample is taken from the oral cavity. System will signal the end of the sampling process by changing the colors to blue. After inserting the test cassette from the tray directly into the DrugTest 5000 analyzer, after a few minutes, the result of the sample analysis will be displayed on the display in the form of clear text messages.

DrugTest 5000 has a memory that allows you to store 500 analyzes with time and date. Additional information can be entered via the keyboard (not included) or the barcode reader. Results can be printed using Drager Mobile Printer (sold separately) or transferred to a computer via USB port.

As standard, the device can be powered by a 230V mains adapter or a 12V car adapter. Drager Drugtest 5000 is equipped with a rechargeable battery that makes the device independent of external power sources.
