Air parameters meter Kidde KCO2M10

KCO2M10 is an indoor air quality meter from a reputable American manufacturer. It is characterized by high quality and allows you to monitor as many as three parameters: the level of carbon dioxide (CO₂), temperature and humidity. It also has a real time clock.

The meter works based on a built-in non-dispersive infrared absorption (NDIR) sensor, which is characterized by a lifespan of at least 10 years and very high accuracy even in a wide range. CO₂ measurement is performed in the range of 400 ~ 5000 ppm, with high accuracy and with a fast response time. If the factory preset values are exceeded, the device will give an audible and voice alarm in one of six selectable languages.

The results are presented on a large, very readable LCD panel. The meter readings are complemented by a color air quality indicator located on the top of the device. The additional history function allows users to read historical data (CO₂ trend) for the last 7 days.

The meter has a night mode in the form of self-adjusting brightness of the LCD panel and LEDs, thanks to which the meter's light does not disturb in the evenings or during sleep. The device has also been equipped with an automatic calibration of the CO₂ sensor, which is performed every 24 hours in order to maintain the reliability of measurements.

KCO2M10 is powered by a built-in battery sufficient for approx. 12 hours of continuous operation, and from a DC 5V/1A power adapter, which also serves as a charger. A big advantage in terms of functionality is the 150 cm long cable and two mounting options: on the wall or by placing it on a flat surface.
