Dräger UCF 8000 thermal imaging camera enables measurements in the temperature range: -40 ~ 1000°C, at the same time guaranteeing an image of excellent quality even in the case of poor visibility.
Resolution of 384 x 288 and the double zoom translate into a detailed picture of the situation. Having a constant overview of the situation in all rooms and the immediate vicinity, you can quickly and safely search the scene of the action. Clearer picture, more detail The risk of missing an important detail is often quite high, which is a real problem in difficult situations.
The easy-to-use mode selector allows you to adapt the UCF 8000 to the specific requirements of the current task. For example, you can optimize the image to find people or sources of fire. The selection of one of the 3 additional operating modes is made by pressing a button: fire (fire fighting), people (search and rescue operations), thermal scan (hot spots location). These additional features give firefighters a better overview in all situations.
UCF 8000 has an extremely durable housing - resistant to high temperatures and mechanical stresses resulting from the specific use of the device. The high degree of protection IP 67 guarantees the camera's resistance to factors often encountered during operation, such as water or dust. The camera is intrinsically safe and has been approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, including zone 1 according to the ATEX directive.
Compact design, good balance and low weight of only 1.4 kg make it possible to operate the camera with one hand. The device has a high thermal resolution, even in places with high temperatures. This makes it possible to detect cooler objects, e.g. people, near the fire, with the highest possible resolution. Intuitive operation enables safe use of the camera and its full functionality, even in the most stressful situations. A solid, handle-mounted base allows you to crawl without putting down the camera. There are also other options for comfortable carrying of the device.
Optimized image processing provides an overview of the situation in just a few seconds. The camera also allows you to "look behind the corners" when your freedom of movement or field of view is restricted. The Snapshot function is used to temporarily freeze the image on the display, so that rescuers can carefully examine it and quickly and safely find even hard-to-reach places. The laser pointer integrated with the camera makes it easy to indicate hazards to other team members, e.g. hot spots or the way to approach the fire.
The camera is also equipped with integrated image and sound recording functions, as well as the possibility of saving individual images. The USB 2.0 interface enables camera configuration (e.g. setting an individual start screen) and transferring thermal images directly to a computer, as well as transferring recorded images and video sequences for documentation purposes. When the available recording time of around two hours is used up, the "camera black box" enables further thermal image recording. When the memory is full, the camera overwrites the oldest recordings. Recording continues automatically.
Dräger UCF 8000 is powered by a modern lithium-ion battery that allows the camera to work continuously for up to four hours, serving the rescuers even during longer operations. In addition, the device has an integrated, extremely precise, 4-level battery indicator.
