Screening breathalyzer Dräger Alcotest 5000

Dräger Alcotest 5000 is a new generation, precise screening breathalyzer that enables a large number of measurements to be carried out in a short period of time.

The device uses an advanced electrochemical DrägerSensor sensor that guarantees fast and repeatable measurement results. The alcohol test does not require the insertion of separate mouthpieces, and the test is carried out without the need for physical contact with the examined person.

Breathalyzer enables the test to be carried out both in an active mode, i.e. the tested person actively blows air into the funnel cap, and passively e.g. when measuring alcohol in the air or testing for its presence in beverages.

Special funnel prevents the retraction of exhaled air by the test person and eliminates the influence of pathogens from previous tests on the result of the current test.

Functionality and simple operation with the use of one button "OK" make the use of the breathalyzer intuitive. Two additional buttons in the form of arrows allow you to easily navigate in the device menu, display the latest test results, reset the test counter, check the next scheduled calibration date, etc. The breathalyzer also has a built-in thread on the back of the device for a standard 1/4 ”wide mounting screw.

Dräger Alcotest 5000 is powered by three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Due to the low power consumption, over 5,000 tests can be performed on one set of batteries, regardless of the selected measurement mode.
