Sound level meter AZ 8925

AZ 8925 is a portable meter designed to measure sound with two correction characteristics: A and C.

Filter A corresponds to the frequency sensitivity of the human ear. It is used to measure the ambient noise level. The C filter with a flat characteristic is used to measure the noise level generated by mechanical devices.

The sonometer measures the sound level in four ranges: 40 ~ 70dB, 60 ~ 90dB, 80 ~ 110dB, 100 ~ 130dB, which can be selected automatically or set by the user. Measurement results are displayed on a multifunctional LCD panel with an accuracy of ± 2 dB. The resolution of indications for the entire range is 0.1dB.

AZ 8925 has the option of measuring in Fast Mode - 125 msec and in slow mode Slow Mode - 1 sec., The function of freezing the result on the display (Hold function), the function of measuring the maximum or minimum value and signaling of battery discharge.

It is adapted to be mounted on a tripod. It has a calibration port and a universal AC/DC connector for connecting external devices, such as: analyzer, recording device.

Device is powered by four 1.5V alkaline batteries type AA (included) and has an automatic power cut-off function after 20 minutes of inactivity.
