Thermoanemometer AZ 8911

AZ 8911 thermoanemometer is a professional meter used to measure the speed and efficiency of air flow and to measure relative humidity, current temperature with an additional function of calculating the dew point and evaporation temperature.

Sapphire rotor bearing ensures a very accurate measurement even at low air velocities. User can change the temperature reading units (°C or °F) and the flow velocity (m/s or ft/min).

Device can operate in the following measurement modes: dynamic, minimum / maximum and average reading. HOLD function makes it possible to freeze the indications with a quick response. Vane probe is connected to the meter with a 1.5 meter cable, which makes it easier to measure in hard-to-reach places.

In the flow velocity measurement mode, the device memory can save up to 8 values ​​for various measurement points, from which the average measurement value is then calculated. The minimum and maximum indications are also stored in the memory.

RS 232 port enables the connection of the device with a PC in order to save the current indications after installing the software (not included in the set). It is adapted to be mounted on a tripod.

AZ 8911 is powered by 4 x 1.5V alkaline batteries, type AA. It has an automatic power cut-off after 15 minutes. idle and low battery indication. After switching off the energy saving function it can work in a continuous mode, e.g. during long-term measurements.
