Screening breathalyzer ALCOSCAN™

ALCOSCAN™ is a screening breathalyzer, working in the so-called passive mode. It has an electrochemical sensor that reacts only to ethyl alcohol.

Pneumatic system of sample feeding to the sensor means that the tested person does not have to blow air into the measuring chamber. It allows you to precisely determine the alcohol content "at a distance", so you can, for example, examine an unconscious person or check whether there is alcohol in the liquids. Simple operation (using one button) ensures quick and efficient testing.

This tester is perfect for situations where the exact knowledge of the alcohol concentration is not required, but only information about whether the test person is not under its influence and when we need to carry out a large number of measurements in a short period of time (e.g. during "mass" employee control , participants of sports events, discos, schools, prisons, military establishments, etc.).

The analyzer communicates with the user via a three-color LED display:
0.00 ‰ - 0.19 ‰ - green LED above the PASS sign is on
0.20 ‰ - 0.49 ‰ - yellow LED above the WARN sign is on
0.50 ‰ - 4.50 ‰ - red LED above the FAIL sign is on

After displaying the result, the device automatically starts the process of preparing for the next measurement. Thanks to this, the preparation time for the next test is limited to the necessary minimum.

ALCOSCAN™ is powered by 4 x1.5V alkaline batteries, type AA and is equipped with a battery monitoring module. The red LED light reminds you to replace the battery.

Breathalyzer ALCOSCAN™ is recommended for the police, uniformed services, courts, hospitals, schools, local government institutions and for sobriety testing of employees in workplaces.
