Smoke alarm Firesco SK-20

SK-20 is an optical smoke detector powered by a built-in lithium battery (not replaceable during its entire lifetime). The power is activated when the detector is placed in the mounting bracket.

Detector has a TEST / RESET button integrated into the housing. It can be used to check all functions of the device and to turn off the mistakenly triggered alarm (e.g. during cooking or frying etc.). Thanks to this function, device can be mounted near the kitchen, bathroom or any other place exposed to the occurrence of false alarms.

Detector has a built-in end-of-life signal. Approximately 10 years* after activation of the detector, a warning beep sounds. Signaling occurs with sufficient time in advance, enabling trouble-free acquisition and replacement of the detector with new one. An important feature is also the signaling informing the user in the event of a possible error or a sudden drop in the power supply. Device is characterized by solid construction and modern design.

SK-20 has a certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of the Polish standard PN-EN14604: 2006P (EN14604:2005) for home smoke detectors. Compliance with the above the standard has been confirmed by the independent research unit VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH (VdS).

Recommended mounting locations: living room, dining room, bedroom, hallway, boiler room, basement, near kitchen rooms, bathrooms and in high rooms where access to the detector may be difficult.
