Firesco ZR170S is an optical smoke detector equipped with a set of advanced integrated circuits. It is distinguished by its minimalist design and a single light-emitting diode. The device is extremely sensitive to fire smoke, which allows for quick detection of threats within just a few seconds of smoke reaching the sensor chamber.

The detector is equipped with advanced diagnostic functions that monitor its condition and inform the user about the need for maintenance or replacement. Thanks to this, the user can be sure that the device is working properly and is ready to detect threats at any time. The Test / Mute button integrated with the housing is used to control all functions of the device and to turn off an alarm that was accidentally triggered (e.g. during cooking or frying).

The use of high-quality materials and precise optical technology means that the detector is able to effectively distinguish fire smoke from other air pollutants. The sensor used in the detector operates on the principle of detecting changes in light intensity caused by the presence of smoke. When smoke enters the detector chamber, it scatters the light emitted by the internal diode, which is then detected by the photodetector. This change is interpreted as the presence of smoke and results in the activation of an 85dB acoustic signal and an optical signal in the form of a red LED.

It has a certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of the Polish standard PN-EN14604:2006P (EN14604:2005) for home smoke detectors. Compliance with the above standard has been confirmed by the independent research unit TÜV Rheinland.

The detector is made of neutral white plastic. It also has a special metal mesh, which minimizes the occurrence of false alarms caused by insects, for example.

ZR170S is powered by a built-in 1 x 3V lithium battery, which ensures operation throughout the service life. The device is covered by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
